How we research limo & car service
Everything on this site is either a public fact we re-publish with attribution, a durable objective attribute (like a vehicle’s typical passenger range), or a clearly labeled planning range from a cited source. We don’t invent prices, operators, fleet sizes, or statistics — and we never sell our rankings.
Who’s behind this site
LimousineHQ is produced by the LimousineHQ Editorial Team and operated by VentureCorp Publishing, an independent publisher. We are not a limousine operator or broker and we do not own a fleet — which is exactly why we can give you neutral planning information before you ever share contact details.
Where our data comes from
| Data | Source | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Airports & distances | OurAirports (public-domain FAA/ICAO & national sources) | City pages: nearest airports, codes, and straight-line transfer distances |
| Vehicle / service types | Standard industry vehicle classes and operator descriptions; our own editorial review | Vehicle comparison: passenger ranges, luggage, use cases, what to expect |
| Pricing context | Cited third-party studies and quote platforms (e.g. The Knot Real Weddings Study, The Bash, Thumbtack), each attributed where it appears | Planning ranges on cost-guide pages — labeled as ranges, never quotes |
Airport distances are straight-line estimates from the city center; real road distance and drive time are longer. We publish guidance for the metros and service types in our directory, not every operator in a market.
How we calculate
Vehicle & service information. Our vehicle comparison describes the main chauffeured-vehicle classes — sedan, SUV, stretch limo, SUV stretch, sprinter/van, party bus, classic/vintage, and motorcoach — on stable, objective attributes: typical passenger-capacity ranges, luggage capacity, common use cases, and what to expect. Exact capacity and amenities vary by the specific vehicle, its configuration, and the operator, so we frame capacities as typical ranges, not guarantees.
Pricing. We deliberately do not publish a made-up price for any city or vehicle. Where we show cost figures (for example on our wedding-transportation cost study), every number is attributed to a primary or cited source and labeled as a planning range — because real quotes are hourly, gated, and vary by market, date, and vehicle. Always request a quote for an exact, bookable figure.
How we compare partners
When you’re ready to book, we help you request quotes and connect with chauffeured-service options. Where we compare vehicle types or services, we compare on objective variables — passenger capacity, luggage, typical use cases, and amenities — not on who pays us. Ranking is never for sale. A partner that pays us more does not get described more favorably if it is worse for you.
Independence & how we make money
We are independent — not owned by, and not a sales arm of, any limousine operator or broker. LimousineHQ is reader-supported through affiliate partnerships and lead referrals: if you request a quote or click through to a partner and book, we may earn a commission or referral fee at no additional cost to you. These relationships never change the factual information we publish — a vehicle’s passenger range, luggage capacity, and typical use cases are the same no matter who pays us.
Keeping it current
We refresh airport data against the latest OurAirports release on a scheduled basis, review our vehicle-type attributes at least yearly, and re-check the cited cost studies behind any pricing context when the underlying surveys update. Each data study carries the date and source it was last fact-checked against.
